RELIGIOUS EDUCATION CLASS ATTENDANCE ON A YEARLY BASIS Yearly attendance is strongly encouraged so that each student will benefit from the full catechesis of our program; students who skip grades may be asked to make up the years they have missed.

WEEKEND MASS ATTENDANCE Families are strongly urged to attend Mass each weekend. Liturgy is a vital part of our Catholic Faith.  Children need to witness and put into practice the beliefs and concepts they are taught in religion class.  When there is no attendance at Mass, the student is often confused about the subject matter discussed in the classroom.

STAFF Our Religious Education Staff consists of a diverse group of dedicated volunteers united by a common love of children and a sincere desire to bring the message of Jesus to them.

Staff positions include teacher (catechist), assistant teacher, monitor, and office helper.

Please call Mrs. Debbie Clardy at (609)267-6319 if you wish to volunteer to for any of the above positions..  Thank you!

ACT OF CONTRITION

Sacred Heart Religious Education Program uses the following version:

My God, I am sorry for my sins with all my heart.  In choosing to do wrong and failing to do good, I have sinned against you whom I should love above all things.  I firmly intend, with your help, to do penance, to sin no more, and to avoid whatever leads me to sin.          Amen.
