Student Expectations

EXPECTATIONS
Student is expected to come to class to learn, carrying the textbook, with all home assignments completed.
COOPERATION WITH PROGRAM
Student is expected to display appropriate Christian behavior and to fully cooperate with the program.
FOOD & DRINK
Personal food and beverage may not be brought to class or consumed by the student; classroom snacks provided by the catechist or a family are permissible.
LOST BOOK COST
The cost of a lost textbook is $15.00. Checks are payable to Sacred Heart Church.
SCHOOL PROPERTY
The school building belongs to the Parish, however, every Religious Education student is asked to respect the contents of the classroom and desks which belong to Sacred Heart School.
Students are not permitted to touch the computers or to sit at the teacher's desk.
Please report any classroom damage to the Religious Education Office.
PARKING LOT
Student in grades K-4 must be escorted by an adult in the parking lot.
ABSENCES
Parent must send a note of explanation to the teacher following an absence which requests missed assignments.
Assignments missed by a student are to be made up at home.
Excessive student absences will not be tolerated and could result in the repetition of the grade level.
Excessive student absences will be evaluated by the Director on an individual basis according to the cause of the absence.
