Track II is an alternative to the Track I Religious Education program which meets once a week from October to April.
Enrollment in Track II is subject to availability.
Students presently enrolled in Track II are automatically reregistered in Track II for the following year unless the Office is notified of a change in status.
Track II is offered for grades 1-8.
Track II usually begins on the last Monday in July.
Times are 8am to 11am including daily Mass at 8:30am.
Additional sessions for Track II meet once a month on the second Wednesday of the month starting in October and ending in April.
Wednesday class times are from 4:30pm to 5:30pm.
STUDENT ARRIVAL/DISMISSAL:
All students should arrive between 7:50am and 8:00am during the two weeks in the summer.TUITION: Tuition for the new year is due on the first day of classes in the Summer. Tuition is $60.00 per student. Checks are payable to Sacred Heart Church. One check for all family members is acceptable.
TEXTBOOKS: Silver Burdett Ginn's BLEST ARE WE Parish Edition will be used for Grades 1-7. Supplementary texts will be used in Grade 2 for First Reconciliation and First Eucharist. Grades 6 and 7 will use the NEW AMERICAN BIBLE SAINT JOSEPH MEDIUM EDITION. Grade 8 will study Sadlier's MORALITY, Silver Burdett Ginn's THE GIFT OF THE SPIRIT, and Sadlier's INTERNATIONAL STUDENT BIBLE FOR CATHOLICS.
SNACK: Please remember to send a drink and a snack with the student each day during the two week summer session.
ABSENCES: Students are expected to attend all sessions to obtain credit for the year. Only excused absences will be permissible. Please send a note of explanation to the teacher following an absence.
CANCELLATION: In the event of inclement weather, please contact the Religious Education Office at (609)267-6319 for cancellation information or visit our website at www.dyneserv.com/shrepmh If driving conditions are the least bit dangerous, please call or access the website before coming to Sacred Heart.
FIRST RECONCILATION, FIRST EUCHARIST, AND CONFIRMATION:
Track II students in grades 2 and 8 will be notified of meetings and special activities pertaining to the sacraments listed above. (also see calendar)
REREGISTRATION FOR THE FOLLOWING YEAR: Students will be automatically reregistered to the next grade level unless a Change of Status Form is submitted to the Religious Education Office. (see registration)
